We met this year in Darmstadt for our AGM. The delibrations were very constructive. Parrell to the meeting there was a social event which enabled the attendees to relax and get to know each other better.

Our annual national convention for this year will take place on the 19.-21.06.2009 in Darmstadt. Venue will be at the premises of KDStV Nassovia in the Alexanderstr. 27, 64283 Darmstadt (City Center).

On the 14th of March 2009, the KAC e.V. was registered in the list for not-for-profit organisations with the privilege to receive fines from legal processes within the Federal Republic of Germany at the Court of Appeal in Hamm. This list is at the disposal to judges, state councils and lawyers. Persons found guilty of any felony could be asked by a court of law to pay a certain fine. In order to have access to such fines, a lot of convincing must be done in order that the KAC e.V. can benefit from. So we hereby appeal to everybody for active participation in this regard.

Our president Akuma Saningong was invited by the KDStV - Catholic German Students Fratenity Nassovia to Darmstadt in CV (Cartellverband = Association of German Catholic Fraternities) on the 27.01.2009. There was an impressive crowd present which was interested in learning about the goals and raison d’être of KAC e.V. Akuma Saningong took them through the journey of his life back in Cameroon with many meanders and how he came to idea of creating a humanitarian organisation dedicated to the service of the poorest of the poor – the forgotten prisoners of poverty.

On the occasion of the 30^th birthday of our treasurer Dr Christian Sinnen, the president Akuma Saningong briefed the guests on current projects of KAC e.V.

Der aktuelle Kalender für das Jahr 2009 ist ausverkauft. Die Auflage von zunächst 100 Exemplaren zum Preis von je 10,50 € war innerhalb weniger Tage vergriffen. Die Reaktion unserer Mitglieder und Spender war durchweg positiv.
