After about 14 months of meetings and construction work, the GTHS Alabukam Water Project finally came to a close. The handing over ceremony took place on the 26th of May 2011. It was a huge occasion with pomp and fanfare in which important dignitaries from the city of Bamenda were present. The Senior Divisional Officer for Bamenda II, the Mayor for Bamenda II, his Royal Highness San Angwafo III Fon of Mankon et cetera were in attendance. The Vice President of Kamerun4AfrikaClub in Cameroon, Dr. Tsi Evaristus Angwafo read a speech in which he pleaded to the school authorities to see into the sustainability of the project. On the part of Kamerun4AfrikaClub, we will still be keeping an eye on the project in case GTHS Alabukam might have some difficulties in its management.
